Ninja Turtle Masks

Today for Friday Funday we made ninja turtle masks. First we drew them, then dyed them and backed them on cardboard and cut them out.

Our buddies come to Room 4 everyday after morning tea to listen to us read books we know and sometimes read to us. They are great buddies! 

ROOM 11: Santa Maria Visit, Week 2 (Tuesday 29th July)

KIA ORA WHANAU, Room 11 are planning to visit the Santa Maria Retirement Village on Tuesday 29th July...and... we will need two to three adult helpers. Please, if you are free between 10.00am and 11.15am, to assist us on the walk down and back and during our time at the village, let Amber know. Thanks

Tomorrow is Beckenham FIFA World Cup Supporters Day.

Kia ora Whanau, as you will hopefully already know, tomorrow is a dress up day: The FIFA World Cup Supporters Day. er Room 11 Students are supporting Chile and they will need to dress in Red, White and Blue Room 12 Students are supporting Germany and they will need to dress in Black, Red, Gold Room 10 Students are supporting Switzerland and they will need to dress in White and Red Across the school classrooms, doorways and windows are being decorated...take a look at some of these rooms:

Getting to Know Beckenham Kids!

Room 5 and Room 1 enjoyed 15minutes of shared reading and conversation today. Older and younger students buddied up and had a great time! We know more people in the playground now. Thanks Madeline and Room 5 for creating an AWESOME movie!
