Lost Jerseys
Kia ora Whanau,
we are trying to locate two Room 11 school jerseys. Both are named so we are asking families to please check your child is wearing their jersey with their name on it!
Many thanks,

Peter and Benjamin together again!
After at least 2 weeks of 'recovery' time, Peter and Benjamin are now fit and healthy again and able to hang out together in their old familiar home. Here are the latest photos - reunited at last!
Peter and Benjamin both started eating the same apple tree leaf and ended up nose to nose! |

Room 11 Acorn Gathering
Inspired by a news item, a group of Room 11 students enjoyed a little bit of time foraging for acorns on Friday afternoon.
Some acorns were given faces...so cute!
Much loved!
Peter and Benjamin continue to attract much love and affection from all. To know them, is to love them!!
Parsley for breakfast - Yum! Yum! |
Sooo cute ... |
An ex-Room 3 student drops in for a visit! |
Mums and Dads, this is how tall your young ones may well end up being. |
Big Sister comes for an afternoon cuddle. |
Room 3's Writers' Wall
Each week we have the chance to publish some of the writing we have working on. Once finished, our published writing is added for display to our Writers' Wall in the far corner of our classroom. When a new piece of published writing is ready to go on display, our first piece is glued into our Publishing Books. These can be read and reread over time, by Mums, Dads, friends and, of course, ourselves!
Here is a selection of our writing about Peter and Benjamin.

New Life!
Two of the monarch chrysalides in Room 3 hatched this week. Swift action with the iPad means that we can show you some of the photos captured at the time.
A fat body and wings still crumpled ... |
Blood has now been pumped into the butterfly's wings and it is nearly ready to fly. |
Aaah, the feeling of basking in the warm sunshine! |
This beautiful monarch is now ready to fly off into the wild blue yonder! |
Year 7 students spend a day with us
Five Year 7 students spent the day with us last Friday. After morning tea they organised and presented a collage activity for us. We were asked to choose our favourite season and then use collage materials to create a picture portraying that season.
The big girls introduce the topic for us. |
Here we are listening to the instructions. |
Great listening, children! |
